Rashaad Penny - Week 1 Outlook for Fantasy Football
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny went on an absolute tear to close out last season. In Weeks 14-18 of 2021, he averaged an absurd 134.2 rushing yards per game. That equated to about 7.3 yards-per-carry. Penny has shown to be a top talent when given carries, but injuries have kept him from being truly unleashed. The Seahawks will have some offensive woes this year with the loss of Russell Wilson and may find themselves playing from behind more often than not. Second-round rookie running back Kenneth Walker III has a hernia injury with no clear timetable, giving Penny the clear role as the backfield leader. Against a solid defense like the Broncos, Penny should be considered as an RB3 going into Week 1.
