Rashaad Penny Struggles In Week 15
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny was coming off the best game of his career a week ago, but that steam ran out rather quickly in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday. Penny finished the game with 11 carries for 39 yards while adding two catches for five yards on two targets. He left the game briefly to be checked out for a back injury in the locker room but eventually returned. Penny couldn't get anything consistent going on the ground, and the team was unable to build and sit on a lead by running the ball. Penny still led the backfield in touches with 13, but he had just two more than teammate DeeJay Dallas. Penny is likely the running back to roster down the stretch, but he'll be a shaky RB3/flex in danger of losing work to Dallas and others when they return from the COVID list.
