Rashaad Penny Is A Decent Deep-League Play
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie running back Rashaad Penny is getting the full range of options in the NFL so far. He struggled as the second-stringer at the start of the season, he struggled as the starter for a game, he was relegated to third-string and given no chances in a game, and then he was given a starring role by surprise. This uncertainty means Penny's performance from week-to-week is a bit of a crapshoot, but he touched the ball in 11 of the 13 times he was on the field in London and ran wild in those chances. That type of performance should be enough to garner him some touches this week against the generous Detroit defense, giving him some value in deep leagues. His finger injury appears to be no concern either, as he practiced in full on Thursday.
