Rashaad Penny, Dee Eskridge Ruled Out
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (calf) and rookie Dee Eskridge (concussion) have been ruled out for Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings for the second straight week. The Seahawks are hopeful that Penny will be able to return in Week 4, but given his lengthy injury history, nobody should be holding their breathe for him. And Seattle has no reason to rush him back with Chris Carson, Alex Collins, Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas at their disposal at the RB position. Eskridge is also hoping to return in Week 4, but Freddie Swain, who had five catches for 95 yards and a touchdown in Week 2, could cement himself as the No. 3 receiver by then. Eskridge is surely worth a stash in dynasty/keeper formats, but outside of those leagues he should be on waivers.
