Randy Dobnak Surrenders Five Runs In Loss
3 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Randy Dobnak struggled in his return from the injured list Friday. Dobnak pitched seven innings, allowing five earned runs on six hits while striking out a pair of batters with no walks issued. The righty navigated an easy first inning but ran into trouble in the second and third frames, allowing three extra-base hits and all five runs in the two innings. Dobnak settled in nicely after that, pitching through the seventh inning, but the damage was already done, resulting in his seventh loss of the year. He could stick in the Twins rotation for the final month of the season, though he won't have much fantasy value with a 7.64 ERA and 1.54 WHIP.
