3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (rib) is dealing with a rib-cartilage injury, but the Rams are optimistic that he will be ready for Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Don't expect Henderson to practice much, but it sounds as though he avoided a major injury in the Week 2 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year-old lead back had 13 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown and caught three of five targets for an additional 29 yards on Sunday before leaving with his injury. Sony Michel finished the game in LA's backfield and had 10 rushing attempts for 46 yards. He was not targeted in the passing game. Henderson could be questionable this week and has a tough matchup on tap in the Bucs strong defensive line. If Henderson sits out, Michel would likely share backfield work with rookie Jake Funk.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
