Raheem Mostert "Is Trying" To Play On Monday
2 months agoMiami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) "is trying" to be ready to play in Week 4 on Monday night against the visiting Tennessee Titans, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. However, McDaniel said "we are not going to prematurely put ourselves out there if we are going to take steps back and not protect ourselves. He wants to (play) in the worst way." Mostert was limited in practice for the second straight day on Friday after missing the last two games, so he is certainly on the road to recovery. However, it doesn't mean he'll play on Monday, and he could be questionable on Saturday's final injury report. Especially with the game being on Monday, the 32-year-old isn't a recommended flex play this wee. If Mostert does suit up, he'll be the RB2 behind De'Von Achane and could also have his snaps limited.
