Rafael Dolis Leaves With No Sensation In His Hand
3 years agoBlue Jays reliever Rafael Dolis (hand) left Wednesday's game with an apparent injury. Manager Charlie Montoyo noted Dolis dealt with "no sensation in his hand" and wasn't able to feel the ball. Dolis left Wednesday's game after only four pitches with one walk. Granted, it's a small sample of four pitches, but the velocity on his sinker was down 1.4 mph. He's filling a setup role and hasn't earned a save since May 2. Since then, Dolis has two holds with an 8.64 ERA in 8 1/3 innings of work. With the struggles and injury concerns surrounding Dolis, he likely won't factor into the saves conversation anytime soon.
