Rafael Devers Getting Breather Against Lefty
2 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers is taking a seat on Wednesday against left-hander Dylan Lee and the Atlanta Braves. It's a normal day of rest for Devers, who is currently hitting .245 (35-for-143) with nine doubles, a league-leading 11 home runs, 34 RBI and 23 runs scored in 157 plate appearances and 36 games for the BoSox. The 26-year-old Dominican All-Star is off to a solid start in the month of May, too, going 9-for-31 (.290) with two doubles, a homer and seven RBI in eight games. Fantasy managers need to remove him from their starting lineups on Wednesday. Justin Turner is getting the nod at the hot corner and is hitting third, while outfielder Masataka Yoshida is serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup against Lee.
