Radko Gudas Exits With Upper-Body Injury
9 months agoAnaheim Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas sustained an upper-body injury against Minnesota on Thursday and had to exit the game early. The hard-hitting rearguard lasted just five minutes in the contest, and his exit left the Ducks without one of their most effective players. Gudas leads Anaheim with a plus-12 rating and is once again among the league leaders in hits, with 213 recorded in 60 games. Offensively, it's also been an above-average season for Gudas, as he's been on track for his fourth 20-point campaign. The 33-year-old has had six goals and 10 assists. Gustav Lindstrom and William Lagesson are candidates to jump into the lineup Friday versus Winnipeg, but neither player can offer what Gudas provides.
