Portland Likely To Move On From Eric Bledsoe

Point/shooting guard Eric Bledsoe appears on track for free agency, as Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Portland is expected to waive the veteran ahead of his 2022-23 deal becoming guaranteed. Acquired by the Trail Blazers in February, Bledsoe never suited up for the franchise, having finished last season averaging 9.9 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game during his tenure with the Clippers. Now 32 years old, Bledsoe is still expected to be a commodity on the free-agent market; with Damian Lillard back, and Anfernee Simons and Gary Payton II receiving sizable contracts this off-season, Bledsoe faced a difficult path to fantasy relevant playing time in Portland.
