Phillies Sign Neftali Feliz, Others To Minor League Deals
4 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies signed relief pitcher Neftali Feliz, catcher Christian Bethancourt, infielder Ronald Torreyes and right-hander Michael Ynoa to minor league deals on Monday. The 32-year-old Feliz won the American League Rookie of the Year and was an All-Star for the Rangers in 2010, but he hasn't pitched in the majors since 2017. Bethancourt, 29, has played in 161 games in five seasons (2013-17) and will provide the team with catching depth as they try to re-sign J.T. Realmuto. Torreyes has played in 240 games over parts of six big league seasons and started four games last September for Philly. Ynoa, 29, has a 4.42 ERA in 45 career outings with the White Sox from 2016-17.
