6 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies are showing significant interest in free-agent outfielder Andrew McCutchen, according to sources. The Phillies are interested in making upgrades to their outfield, and McCutchen could be added to the mix that includes Roman Quinn, Odubel Herrera, Nick Williams and Aaron Altherr. McCutchen's best seasons are behind him. He's 32 years old and won the National League MVP with the Pirates in 2013, but he hit .255 with 20 home runs and a .792 OPS in 2018 overall between the Giants and Yankees. Cutch can still be useful in deep mixed and single-universe leagues, but it's unclear how much playing time he'd receive if he were to sign in Philly.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
