6 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies have spoken to the San Francisco Giants about trading for starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner. The Phils have a greater need for a left-handed starter after losing out on Patrick Corbin. The Brewers are another possible destination for MadBum. While the southpaw is a postseason legend and remains a strong starter, he'll be 30 years old next year and hasn't reached 30 starts in a season since 2016. Moving to hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park wouldn't be the most ideal place for an aging pitcher.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
