Phillies Acquire Corey Dickerson From Pirates
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies acquired outfielder Corey Dickerson from the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday in exchange for international signing bonus money and a player to be named later. The Phillies needed some outfield help due to injuries and the Pirates had more than enough outfielders to go around, so this trade makes plenty of sense. Dickerson is hitting .317 with 18 doubles, four home runs and 25 RBI in 43 games this year and should see a boost to his fantasy value with a move to a more hitter-friendly environment and an everyday role.
