Philipp Grubauer Pulled In Game 2 Loss
7 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Philipp Grubauer allowed four goals on 22 shots and was replaced by Braden Holtby for the third period in Sunday's Game 2 matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets. This is the second game in a row that Grubby allowed four goals against, though this is the first time he was pulled. There's no call yet on who Tuesday's starter will be for Game 3, but all signs point to Grubauer riding the pine. Holtby allowed one goal on eight shots over the third period and overtime and will likely start Tuesday's game.
