7 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter said running back Peyton Barber is the current starter, and they have "high" confidence in him. However, things could change, and they did target a free-agent running back. The Bucs are also fully expected to address the backfield early in the draft in what is a good class. Barber had a healthy 108 carries for 423 yards and three touchdowns in 2017, but he also ran for just 3.9 yards per carry. We fully expect him to be in some sort of timeshare in Tampa's backfield this season, but he could be a decent flex option in what could be a strong offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
