Petr Mrazek Bags Overtime Win Versus WIld
2 months agoChicago Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek had a strong outing against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, kicking away 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 overtime win. The Czech netminder came very close to his first shutout of the campaign, as Matt Boldy scored for Minnesota with only 4:31 left in regulation. The red-hot Wild were limited to fewer than three goals for only the fourth time this season. Mrazek has picked up some form lately but has been flipping between wins and losses for six starts. He has taken his record to 5-7-0 and boasts a 2.85 goals-against average with a .905 save percentage. These are good numbers from Mrazek, but he's carrying a losing record because the team offense struggles. There are only five teams in the league averaging fewer goals than Chicago.
