5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Peter Lambert, their No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is expected to make his major league debut with a start sometime this week. The 22-year-old right-hander is 2-2 with a 5.07 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, 16 walks and 51 strikeouts in 60 1/3 innings over 11 starts at Triple-A Albuquerque this season. Colorado is at the Cubs this week and head to face the Mets this weekend. Either way, Lambert doesn't look to be a very strong streaming option in deeper leagues, and it's unclear if he'll stick in the rotation long while filling in for the demoted Kyle Freeland.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
