Pete Crow-Armstrong Excelling At Double-A Tennessee
2 years agoChicago Cubs top outfield prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong is off to a hot start in Double-A Tennessee. Through nine games, he owns a .343/.395/.571 slash line, including a home run, two triples, and a double. Crow-Armstrong also showcased his 60-grade speed, accruing six stolen bases in seven attempts. Widely considered a defense-first prospect, Crow-Armstrong's hit tool has excelled at each level thus far. Still, the 21-year-old is not expected to hit the majors until 2024. A crowded Cubs outfield featuring Seiya Suzuki, Ian Happ, and Cody Bellinger further illustrates the unlikelihood he gets the call in 2023.
