1 year agoAccording to NBA insider Michael Scotto, the Pelicans will allow forward Jaxson Hayes to enter unrestricted free agency. After the Pelicans used the eighth overall pick on Hayes in 2019, they had high hopes of him being their future center. But his career has been disappointing so far, as it has been plagued with legal trouble and injuries. He was set to make $6.8 million next year with the Pelicans, but now he will search for a new team. Hayes has a reputation for being an athletic freak on both ends of the floor, so if he can get healthy, he will be a good addition to his next team.--Daniel Leonard - RotoBaller
