St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich recorded the first natural hat trick of his NHL career when his crew dominated against the Islanders with a 4-0 victory on Thursday. The Blues opened the scoring via a Brandon Saad power-play goal early in the second period, and Buchnevich then quickly took over the scoring, netting twice inside 25 seconds and completing his hat trick with an empty-net goal in the middle of the third. There hadn't been a natural hat trick in the regular season by a Blues player since David Backes had produced one on Jan. 6, 2015. Buchnevich has scored in three of his last four appearances, reaching 22 goals and 46 points for the campaign with 54 games played.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
