Paul Sewald Closes Out Monday's Win
1 year agoSeattle Mariners right-hander Paul Sewald recorded the save on Monday after closing out the 8-4 victory over the Washington Nationals. He came into the game with two outs in the ninth inning and made quick work of the Nats, striking out the only batter he faced. It was Sewald's 14th save of 2023, and he also owns a 2.64 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 35.3% strikeout rate. Fantasy managers should view the 33-year-old as the lone closer in Seattle who will continue providing great value in every category.
