Paul Perkins Sees Plenty Of Meaningful Reps
Paul Perkins, not Wayne Gallman, was the first running back up during spring practices when Saquon Barkley was on the sidelines. The team is trying to limit Barkley's workload in the offseason, and it appears Perkins is the biggest beneficiary. He'll need to continue his good play into training camp and the preseason, and he could be the second back on the depth chart. Gallman reportedly had trouble with dropped passes, so the door is wide open for Perkins.
