Paul Goldschmidt Homers In All-Star Game At-Bat
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt made his one at-bat count in Tuesday's 3-2 All-Star Game loss to the American League, hitting a solo home run. Goldschmidt crushed a first-inning Shane McClanahan fastball into the left-center seats to increase the National League's lead at the time to two. The veteran has had a resurgent first half even by his standards, slashing .330/.414/.590 with 20 HR, 70 RBI, and five stolen bases. He should continue to be a centerpiece in fantasy managers' lineups for the second half of the season.
