5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is dealing with elbow soreness early in spring training. "Goldy" may miss the first few Grapefruit League games, but it is not expected to be much of a concern going forward. It seems like the Cardinals are just being careful in order to make sure their first baseman is ready to go when the games start to count. Goldschmidt may take at bats from the DH position until he feels well enough to play the field.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
