Paul Casey Fades In Final Round At Sedgefield
5 years agoPaul Casey entered the final round of the Wyndham Championship trailing leader Benny An by just three shots, but the Englishman failed to get anything going in his final round at Sedgefield Country Club. Casey was undone by a brutal double bogey on the 10th hole and settled for a final-round 69 to finish in a share of 13th place at 15-under par. As is often the case, the veteran was near the top of the field in strokes gained tee-to-green, but was held back his ineptitude on the greens and finished just 72nd in the field in strokes gained putting. Casey currently ranks eighth in the FedEx Cup points standings and will be a serious contender in the upcoming PGA Tour Playoffs.
