Believe it or not, Patrick Reed is hitting the ball better than he has in years. Last week at the Travelers Championship, the nine-time PGA Tour winner gained four strokes on approach and 2.6 strokes off the tee. This is the third week in a row in which Reed has gained over 3.4 strokes on approach. The former Masters champion has only done that two other times in his entire career, and the last time it happened was in 2016. Reed is also coming off a week where he lost strokes putting. In the last year, the University of Georgia product has only lost strokes putting five times. In his following start, he has gained +5.1, +2.4, +5.2, +0.6 and +6.7 strokes putting. Even if the irons regress slightly, expect Reed to pour it in with the flat stick this week.--Andy Lack
