Patrick Kane Misses Second Consecutive Game
39 seconds agoDetroit Red Wings right wing Patrick Kane (upper body) will miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday against Calgary. Kane missed his first game of the season against the Islanders on Monday. He remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury but is expected to return soon. The Red Wings have their next game on Friday versus New Jersey. Kane is in the middle of a five-game scoring drought and has averaged just 0.5 points per game this season. In 20 appearances, he has contributed three goals and seven assists. Tyler Motte moved to the top six on Monday and is expected to remain on the second line Wednesday.
