2 days agoCleveland Cavaliers forward Isaac Okoro (ankle) is considered questionable for Tuesday's fascinating matchup against Boston. He suffered an ankle sprain against Charlotte on Sunday and might be forced to miss his first game of the season. Dean Wade (ankle) is already ruled out, and question marks are hanging over Caris LeVert (knee) and Sam Merrill (ankle), meaning Cleveland's rotation could have a very different look on Tuesday. The long list of injuries might give further opportunities to Ty Jerome, who impressed on Sunday with a 24-point, eight-assist effort.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoCleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (ankle) will not take the floor on Tuesday versus Boston. He will miss his third game of the season after spraining his left ankle against Charlotte over the weekend. Wade's fantasy impact is minimal, with the 27-year-old averaging 5.5 points and 4.2 rebounds, but he's been a valuable member of the rotation and certainly will be missed as Cleveland tries to defend its unbeaten record against the defending champs. Wade's absence opens up around 20 minutes of action. Georges Niang, Caris LeVert (knee), Isaac Okoro (ankle), and Sam Merrill (ankle) can all potentially benefit from his absence, but the latter three are battling injuries themselves and might join Wade on the sidelines Tuesday.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoUtah Jazz center Walker Kessler (hip) will sit out a fifth consecutive game on Tuesday versus the Lakers. He has missed a week of action with a hip problem, and it's not fully clear when Kessler will be able to make a comeback. His injury has allowed John Collins to put together a strong stretch, while Kyle Filipowski also benefits from his absence. The two are in a strong position to continue their recent success on Tuesday, as the Lakers are ranked 26th in defensive efficiency and 23rd in rebounding rate.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoLos Angeles Lakers guard/forward Cam Reddish (leg) is not on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's clash with Utah. Reddish sat out Saturday's 104-99 win over New Orleans due to a strained tendon in his lower right leg. However, he returned to practice on Monday and appears ready to jump back into action. Reddish has averaged 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 21.0 minutes for the season. He hasn't been relevant in fantasy basketball, but his return will be significant, as Max Christie's minutes will take a hit, and Dalton Knecht might also lose some momentum. Reddish made four consecutive starts before injuring himself on Friday versus San Antonio.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James Jr. (heel) is on the injury report as doubtful ahead of Tuesday's game against Utah. James last saw NBA action on Nov. 10 versus Toronto, and it looks like he will have to sit out this one due to a bruised heel. In five NBA appearances, James has scored four total points in 16 minutes. He's logged a lot more action in the G League, averaging 28.5 minutes across two outings. Shooting woes have limited him to 5.0 points per game, while James has notched 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks in the G League.Source: ESPN
2 days agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's meeting with Utah. He didn't practice on Monday, meaning it's unlikely Hachimura will be able to play, but Lakers head coach JJ Redick hasn't fully ruled him out just yet. Hachimura has been sidelined for two games already, giving Dalton Knecht and Max Christie larger roles. The two have looked good at times, but their inexperience at this level makes them fairly inconsistent performers.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoPhiladelphia Flyers winger Travis Konecny took his point streak to seven games with an assist in Monday's 3-2 loss to Colorado. Konecny's work helped Owen Tippett to spark a late comeback effort after Philadelphia had fallen 3-0 behind. The seven-game run matches Konecny's second-longest point streak of his career. His best-ever scoring streak stands at 10 games. He can match it this week if he stays productive against Carolina, Chicago, and Vegas. Konecny is once again leading the Flyers in scoring with 23 points (11 goals, 12 assists) in 19 games. The 27-year-old is part of a 12-player group in the league that has registered double digits in both goals and assists.Source: ESPN
2 days agoMontreal Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault recorded his second shutout of the season with a 30-save effort against Edmonton in a 3-0 win Monday night. The 28-year-old was impressive with his work, blanking a team that had scored three-plus goals in four consecutive games. Following a tricky period, Montembeault has started to return to form, winning back-to-back starts to take his record to 6-8-1. He has allowed 2.85 goals this season while recording a .906 save percentage. Montembeault now has a chance to put together his first three-game winning streak since 2021-22, but he will find himself in a tough spot on Saturday against a top-class Vegas team.Source: ESPN
2 days agoSan Jose Sharks left wing William Eklund provided two goals in Monday's 5-4 overtime win against Detroit. He squeezed a power-play marker between two Red Wings strikes in the first period and tied the game at two during even-strength play in the second. Eklund was highly efficient in front of the net, bagging his two goals with only three shots on goal. The Sharks have looked much better in recent weeks, and it's helped Eklund to heat up. He finds himself on a four-game point streak that consists of two goals and four assists. For the season overall, Eklund has registered 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 19 outings. He is well on his way to surpassing the 45 points he had during his rookie campaign last year.Source: ESPN
2 days agoAnaheim Ducks right wing Brett Leason produced a three-point outing as the team shocked the Dallas Stars with a 4-2 victory on Monday. Leason potted Anaheim's second goal and collected two assists, including one with the man advantage. The 25-year-old has only recently started to log regular power-play time because the Ducks attack has lost Robby Fabbri (knee) and Mason McTavish (upper body). He has jumped on the third line and has been highly effective, amassing six points (two goals, four assists) in the past four games. Leason sits on seven points (two goals, five assists) in 12 games for the campaign. He's not known as a scorer and likely won't be able to keep up his current form for much longer, but Leason gets a good matchup on Tuesday against the struggling Blackhawks.Source: ESPN
2 days agoAnaheim Ducks left wing Brock McGinn sustained a lower-body injury in Monday's 4-2 win at Dallas. He had to leave after eight shifts when McGinn crashed into the boards. The 30-year-old has recorded six points (three goals, three assists) in 17 appearances this season and sits second on the team with 44 hits. Anaheim is back on the ice Tuesday night against Chicago, giving McGinn very little time to recover, and he should be regarded as questionable for the game.Source: Anaheim Ducks
2 days agoWashington Capitals winger Alex Ovechkin suffered a leg injury against Utah on Monday and is under evaluation. Fresh off his 31st career hat trick, Ovechkin scored two more goals in Monday's 6-2 win, but he was forced to exit the contest in the third period following a collision with Utah forward Jack McBain. Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery expects to know more about Ovechkin's injury on Tuesday. Losing the veteran star would be a massive blow for Washington. Ovechkin has just taken over the goal-scoring lead in the league and has amassed 25 points (15 goals, 10 assists) in 18 outings. Jakub Vrana might get a shot in the top six if Ovechkin has to miss additional time.Source: Tarik El-Bashir
2 days agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert caught just two of his five targets for 21 yards during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. The 25-year-old posted double-digit fantasy points (PPR) in four of his first eight games this year, initially giving him some low-end WR3/FLEX appeal. However, ever since Cooper Rush has taken over for Dak Prescott (hamstring), Tolbert has fallen off the fantasy radar. He continues to play north of 90 percent of the Cowboys' offensive snaps but has just five catches for 35 yards over his last two games combined. Tolbert can be benched in fantasy leagues with 14 teams or fewer.Source: RotoBaller
2 days agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVontae Turpin caught each of his three targets for a total of 86 yards during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. The bulk of his production came on a 64-yard touchdown on the first play of the second quarter. This was Turpin's best game of the year, bringing his season totals to 20 catches, 267 yards, and two touchdowns. The 28-year-old is a talented big-play threat but doesn't have the volume needed to justify rostering him in leagues with 14 teams or fewer.Source: RotoBaller
2 days agoDallas Cowboys tight end Luke Schoonmaker caught six of his 10 targets for 56 yards during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. While Schoonmaker typically operates as the Cowboys' No. 2 tight end, he was bumped up to the first-team offense early in Monday's game after Jake Ferguson (concussion) was ruled out. The 26-year-old has shown off his ability to step up on offense before, catching six passes for 43 yards when Ferguson was sidelined back in Week 2. If Ferguson's concussion forces him to miss Week 12 against the Washington Commanders, Schoonmaker would temporarily become a fringe top-12 fantasy tight end.Source: RotoBaller
2 days agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb turned 12 targets into eight catches for 93 yards during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. He also tallied a 13-yard rush. Even with the Cowboys' offense faltering under Cooper Rush, Lamb was able to be productive, turning in 18-plus fantasy points (PPR) for the fourth time this season. This was his highest fantasy point total this season in a game where he failed to find the end zone. The Cowboys' No. 1 receiver should continue to see heavy volume moving forward, which will allow him to remain in the low-end WR1 tier for fantasy purposes.Source: RotoBaller
2 days agoDallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle rushed for 28 yards on 10 carries during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. He also caught two of his five targets for an additional six receiving yards. Even as quarterback Cooper Rush racked up production in garbage time, the Cowboys' starting running back was not able to get very involved. Between his subpar volume and reduced efficiency, Dowdle will drop to the low-end RB3 tier next week against Washington.Source: RotoBaller
2 days agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush completed 32 of his 55 pass attempts for 354 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. He also fumbled twice, but both were recovered by the Cowboys. All in all, Rush put together a solid fantasy showing by racking up yardage during garbage time. This was enough to reward fantasy managers who may have opted to stream him in Week 11. Moving forward, Rush will drop back down to the QB3 tier. He faces the Washington Commanders next Sunday.Source: RotoBaller
2 days agoHouston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell finished his team's 34-10 victory at Dallas with four catches for 54 yards on seven targets. Interestingly, it was exactly the same stat line as No. 1 receiver Nico Collins, who returned to the lineup following a prolonged absence. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud completed passes to eight different receivers, but running back Joe Mixon accounted for all three of Houston's offensive touchdowns. Dell and the Texans will look for a breakout day against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.Source: ESPN
2 days agoThe Houston Texans saw top wide receiver Nico Collins haul in four passes for 54 yards on seven targets during a 34-10 victory at Dallas. The star wideout's return to the field after a hamstring ailment landed him on injured reserve was a bit underwhelming, as he finished with exactly the same stat line as fellow wide receiver Tank Dell. However, it was running back Joe Mixon who stole the show, scoring all three of the Texans' offensive touchdowns in the convincing win. Collins and the Texans' passing game will have a great chance to break out against a reeling Tennessee team in Week 12.Source: ESPN
2 days agoHouston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 23 of 34 passing attempts for 257 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in a 34-10 victory at Dallas on Monday. The second-year quarterback saw the return of top wide receiver Nico Collins, but running back Joe Mixon did most of the offensive damage by scoring three touchdowns. Stroud completed passes to eight receivers in the game, but has now thrown just two touchdown passes in his past five games. The Houston signal-caller will look for a better performance in a solid matchup in Week 12 when the Texans take on the floundering Tennessee Titans.Source: ESPN
2 days agoHouston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz set a season-high with five catches for 33 yards in the Texans' 34-10 victory against the Dallas Cowboys. The big tight end drew seven targets, which tied for the team lead, but did most of his work within short yardage. The former Cowboy still has not scored this season, but Houston has only two passing touchdowns in its past five games as a team, so receiving touchdowns have been few and far between. Schultz and the Texans will look for better against the struggling Tennessee Titans in Week 12.Source: ESPN
2 days agoThe Houston Texans defense/special teams compiled five sacks, forced two turnovers, and clinched a 34-10 victory Monday at Dallas with a wild defensive play in which they ended up in the end zone. Houston defensive end Derek Barnett stripped Dallas quarterback Cooper Rush, Cowboys guard Tyler Guyton recovered, and Houston safety Jalen Pitre blasted Guyton, jarring the ball free again. Barnett then scooped and scored from 28 yards to go up 27-10, sealing Houston's win. It was another great performance from the Texans, who will face another struggling offense in Week 12 when they take on the Tennessee Titans.Source: ESPN
2 days agoFor the fifth consecutive week, Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon surpassed 100 rushing yards and found the end zone on Monday at Dallas, finishing with 153 total yards and three scores in the 34-10 win. The veteran running back kept up his hot streak with 109 yards on 20 carries, to which he added two catches for 44 yards. Mixon broke a 45-yard touchdown run on Houston's first drive, scored from a yard away later in the first quarter, and capped off the win with another one-yard touchdown. Five straight games of 100-plus rushing yards and a touchdown ties a Super-Bowl-era record. Houston's RB1 will look to keep the momentum going in Week 12 against Tennessee.Source: ESPN
2 days agoLos Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (foot) is listed as probable ahead of Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz. The foot injury is nothing new, so fantasy managers should expect to see his name on the injury report moving ahead. With that in mind, Davis has missed just one game so far this season after appearing in 76 during the 2023-24 campaign. He's played well, too, averaging a career-high 31.1 points with 11.2 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 42.9% shooting from behind the arc. As always, AD is a must-start, although his ceiling could be higher against the Jazz with Walker Kessler (hip) out again.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) will play on Monday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. The multi-time All-Star was questionable heading into this contest. But fantasy managers were encouraged after head coach Steve Kerr indirectly indicated he'd be good to go. Curry missed three games this season because of an ankle injury. However, he's still playing well despite being in the league for well over a decade, averaging 22.7 points and shooting 43.2% from behind the arc. With that in mind, Curry can be safely added back to fantasy lineups, although his presence will likely mean less work and scoring opportunities for Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 days agoThe New York Yankees signed utilityman Pablo Reyes and right-hander Cristian Hernandez to minor-league deals on Monday. Reyes, 31, has six seasons of MLB experience, most recently playing for the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets in 2024, where he hit a combined .183/.234/.217 with no homers and five RBI in 22 games played. He has played every position on the field except catcher and sports a career .248/.309/.349 slash line with eight homers, 54 RBI and 13 steals in 233 games. Hernandez, 24, has not pitched above Double-A and had a 3.40 ERA with 44 strikeouts and nine stolen bases in 42 1/3 innings for Double-A Reading in the Philadelphia Phillies organization this past season. Reyes, given his experience, is probably the better bet to play for the Yankees during the 2025 season as a utility bench option.Source: New York Daily News - Gary Phillips
2 days agoAtlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (leg) has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Sacramento Kings. The team announced that Johnson is dealing with left lateral lower leg inflammation. The 22-year-old has been an integral part of the Hawks' lineup, averaging 19.4 PPG, 9.9 RPG and 5.4 APG. Garrison Mathews is starting in Johnson's place, though Johnson's absence should mean more expected points production from rookie Zaccarie Risacher and more rebounding production from Clint Capela. Fantasy managers and DFS managers may find more value in Risacher than Capela.Source: Atlanta Hawks
2 days agoFree-agent outfielder Juan Soto has already met with the Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox and New York Mets, and his agent, Scott Boras, met with the New York Yankees on Monday. The Los Angeles Dodgers are the next team up to meet with Soto, possibly as early as Tuesday, according to sources. No conclusion is expected before Thanksgiving next Thursday, but the feeling around the industry is that he could make a decision before the winter meetings, which begin on Dec. 9. The superstar outfielder is expected to sign a deal for at least 10 years and for a dollar amount that could exceed $600 million. One source said Soto has spoken with at least one other mystery team. Other teams that could meet with Soto include the Giants, Phillies and Rays, with Tampa being the biggest long shot. The Mets and Yankees are considered the favorites to secure Soto's services this offseason.Source: MLB.com - Mark Feinsand
2 days agoSan Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw (Achilles) could have his 21-day practice window opened this week. Greenlaw has been on the injured reserve all season after suffering a torn Achilles during the Super Bowl. It sounds like Greenlaw is close to making it back on the field. The expectation is that Greenlaw will need to practice for a few weeks before getting back into game action. This defensive unit could certainly use Greenlaw's help, but the team isn't going to rush him back to the field. Greenlaw getting back to practice this week would be a huge step forward in his recovery process.Source: David Lombardi
