8 hours agoHouston Rockets guard Jalen Green (illness) is available ahead of Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Green was listed as questionable coming into this game due to an illness, but he'll continue to play as he has yet to miss a game this season. The 22-year-old figures to resume his role in the starting five for Wednesday's game. Green is averaging 19.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists across 32 minutes per game this season. Fantasy managers should make sure to get Green back in their lineups ahead of tip-off.Source: Danielle Lerner
8 hours agoHouston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. (ankle) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Anderson's return to practice is a welcome sight for fantasy managers who were planning on rolling out the Texans D/ST in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans. The star second-year player is a key cog in a solid Texans defense. Anderson has racked up 7.5 sacks in nine games played in 2024. Should Anderson play this week, he is sure to sack Titans quarterback Will Levis at least once, if not multiple times. The Texans boast the No. 6 D/ST in fantasy in 2024. The Titans happen to be the best matchup for opposing D/STs in fantasy this season. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor this situation to ensure that Anderson will be active. However, with Anderson trending towards playing this week, the Texans should be 100% rostered and started throughout fantasy football leagues.Source: Houston Texans
8 hours agoMemphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (ankle) won't play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Williams sprained his right ankle during Tuesday's contest with the Denver Nuggets and could not return. Marcus Smart (illness) and John Konchar (illness) could also be out, as they are listed as doubtful. Jake LaRavia and Luke Kennard will see more minutes than usual if Smart and Konchar cannot suit up.Source: Grizzlies PR

8 hours agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) will be unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers. Carter will miss his ninth consecutive contest due to left plantar fasciitis. However, he did practice Tuesday, which could lead to him playing against the Lakers on Thursday. The 25-year-old has been missed as he has consistently contributed when on the floor, averaging 8.3 points and 8.8 rebounds this season. With Carter still out, Moritz Wagner, Jonathan Isaac, and Goga Bitadze will continue to see expanded roles in the frontcourt. Source: NBA Injury Report
9 hours agoNew York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence II (knee) opened up the Week 12 injury report as a limited participant. Lawrence is one of the best defensive tackles in the league. He anchors what is actually a solid New York Giants defense. The Giants host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12. Lawrence and his nine sacks will definitely be needed with Baker Mayfield and company coming to town. Given that Lawrence is a veteran and has played in every game this season, his presence as a limited participant on the injury report this early in the week is of little concern. He is enjoying a career year and should give Mayfield and the skill players in Tampa Bay fits on Sunday provided he remains healthy enough to play.Source: NFL.com
9 hours agoChicago Blackhawks defenseman Seth Jones (foot) is expected to miss four weeks of action. Jones injured his right foot when he blocked a shot in a game against Seattle last week. He will sit out a third consecutive contest on Thursday versus Florida. The multi-time All-Star is a big contributor at both ends of the ice, and Chicago has struggled without him, losing back-to-back games with a combined score of 7-3. Nolan Allan has jumped back into action during Jones' absence, while Alex Vlasic led the Blackhawks blue-liners with 26:34 of ice time in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Anaheim. He has also logged the most power-play time among defensemen in the last two games.Source: Greg Boysen
9 hours agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold (foot) is listed on the Week 12 injury report after putting in a limited practice session on Wednesday due to a foot ailment. Darnold played the full game in the Week 11 win over the Tennessee Titans but is having his reps limited in the first practice of the week. We'll have a better idea of how serious his injury is after the Vikings hold two more practices on Thursday and Friday. The 27-year-old has slowed down of late in terms of his production, throwing five touchdowns and five interceptions in the last three games. It won't get any easier this weekend if he plays against the division-rival Chicago Bears, whose defense has given up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the QB position in 2024. Darnold is shaping up as a low-end QB2 play for fantasy managers in Week 12 if he's active.Source: Minnesota Vikings
9 hours agoChicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams (foot) won't play in Wednesday's divisional meeting against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 23-year-old appeared in Tuesday's edition of the injury report because of bilateral foot soreness. However, since then, it was confirmed he's dealing with an issue with his left foot, the same one he had season-ending surgery on in January. Williams will undergo further testing. But fantasy managers could be without him beyond Wednesday evening. If that's the case, Julian Phillips and Jalen Smith could be in line for more work. Torrey Craig may also see more minutes than usual.Source: ESPN
9 hours agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi (lower body) will miss Wednesday's contest against Vegas after he was placed on Injured Reserve. The move is retroactive to Nov. 16, meaning Domi will be eligible to return on Sunday versus Utah. Domi recently replaced Auston Matthews (upper body) in the top six but has been ineffective offensively. The 29-year-old sits on a 13-game point drought. Toronto's attack is also without David Kampf (lower body) and Calle Jarnkrok (groin), putting the team in a tough position. Pontus Holmberg will move to the second line for Wednesday's game. He has been limited to two assists in 17 games this season.Source: Sportsnet
9 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (lower body) is being listed as limited on the team's practice report on Wednesday, according to a source. Wednesday was the final day of a strengthening program geared towards Hurts' lower body. He's expected to practice in full on Thursday and Friday and play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. The 26-year-old had a down Week 11 with 221 passing yards and no touchdowns, but he did manage to rush for 39 yards and a touchdown. Especially because of the Eagle's propensity to go for QB sneaks at the goal line, Hurts is an elite, must-start QB1 in fantasy each and every week. Hurts should bounce back on Sunday night against a shaky Rams defense. He comes into Week 12 as the QB3 in overall fantasy points through 11 weeks, behind only Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow.Source: ESPN.com - Tim McManus
9 hours agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (groin) won't play on Wednesday against the Pelicans. The 24-year-old is coming off a rough showing in Tuesday's loss to the Boston Celtics, finishing with only eight points off 3-for-21 shooting from the field. But he'll be sidelined versus New Orleans because of groin soreness, meaning his next chance to play will be on Sunday versus the Toronto Raptors. With the Cavs also down Caris LeVert (knee), Sam Merrill (ankle), Isaac Okoro (ankle), Max Strus (ankle), and Dean Wade (ankle), Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and Evan Mobley could each see an uptick in fantasy production. The same can be said Georges Niang, Ty Jerome, and Craig Porter Jr.Source: NBA Injury Report
9 hours agoUtah Hockey Club goaltender Connor Ingram (upper body) is considered day-to-day. The 27-year-old had a difficult outing against Washington on Monday, which may have resulted from the injury. Utah pulled Ingram after he had allowed four goals on 14 shots. Ingram's season with the NHL's newest franchise has been a rollercoaster ride. He sits on a 6-4-3 record and has allowed 3.61 goals with a .871 save percentage. Karel Vejmelka will receive an increased workload if Ingram can't make a quick return from injury. Vejmelka has celebrated only one victory in five starts this term but has been more efficient with his work compared to Ingram, recording a 2.58 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage. Jaxson Stauber has been recalled from the AHL on an emergency basis.Source: Craig Morgan
9 hours agoOn Wednesday, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert (knee) will not suit up against the New Orleans Pelicans. LeVert will miss his second straight game due to inflammation in his left knee. Luckily, he will have more extra days of rest since the Cavs' next game is on Sunday versus Toronto. With LeVert missing in action, Georges Niang and Craig Porter could see an uptick in minutes on the floor versus the Pelicans.Source: NBA Injury Report
9 hours agoDallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion) was unable to practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday. Ferguson suffered a concussion early in the Monday night loss to the Houston Texans and was ruled out quickly. Head coach Mike McCarthy said on Tuesday that Ferguson is fighting an uphill battle to clear the league's concussion protocol on a short week to play on Sunday against the division-rival Washington Commanders. Fantasy managers should be putting the 25-year-old on their benches this week while hoping he'll be able to return to play in the annual Thanksgiving game against the division-rival New York Giants. Backup Luke Schoonmaker stepped in for six catches on 10 targets for 56 yards against Houston, and he could be worth a look as a TE2 streamer in fantasy if you're desperate at the position in Week 12.Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan
9 hours agoBuffalo Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (undisclosed) will get back to work on Wednesday against Los Angeles. He has been unavailable for a couple of games due to an undisclosed injury. Luukkonen has been mediocre as Buffalo's No. 1 this season, going 6-4-1 with a 2.83 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. On Wednesday, he faces an offense that has generated 3.21 goals per game. The Finnish netminder suffered a 3-1 defeat against the Kings earlier in the campaign, which was only his second career appearance in the matchup. He recorded a shutout in a big 7-0 victory against them last season.Source: NHL.com
9 hours agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back, foot) was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice with multiple injuries. Lamb injured his back in practice last Saturday and was questionable to play on Monday night in the loss to the Houston Texans, but he was active and played 80% of the offensive snaps on his way to eight catches for 93 yards. The 25-year-old pass-catcher must have picked up a foot injury on Monday, and his practice status will be monitored closely to close out the week. The most likely scenario is that the Cowboys are giving their star receiver a little rest on a short week before he faces the division-rival Washington Commanders this Sunday. Lamb's fantasy value isn't as high now that quarterback Cooper Rush is starting under center for the Cowboys, but his Week 11 production shows why he should stay in all starting fantasy lineups if he's active.Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan
9 hours agoBuffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch (undisclosed) will play on Wednesday against the L.A. Kings. Tuch missed Monday's practice as he appears to be dealing with a minor ailment. However, the injury will not force him to sit out Wednesday's game. Tuch has appeared in all 18 games this season, moving nearly with a point-per-game pace. He has totaled five goals and a team-high 12 assists. Tuch skates on the top line with Ryan McLeod and JJ Peterka and works with the first power-play unit. The Kings have been among his favorite opponents throughout his career, as the former Vegas Golden Knight has recorded 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) against them.Source: NHL.com
9 hours agoNew York Giants rookie tight end Theo Johnson (back) finds himself on the Week 12 injury report after being listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Johnson played through the back injury before the Week 11 bye in the loss to the Carolina Panthers in Germany and caught four of his six targets for 37 yards. The 23-year-old should be able to play again this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, barring a setback in practice later this week. At best, Johnson is a low-end TE2/high-end TE3 in fantasy, although perhaps he's more involved in the offense moving forward with the Giants benching quarterback Daniel Jones for Tommy Devito. Johnson has caught 21 of 32 targets for 238 yards and one touchdown in his first 10 NFL games. He's mostly rostered in dynasty/keeper leagues.Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomne
9 hours agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (calf) could return as early as Tuesday next week against the Lakers for the NBA Cup game. The 36-year-old has been out since suffering a left calf strain against the Mavs on November 9th. Getting Durant back will be a massive boost for fantasy managers, as he is averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks while shooting 42.9% from behind the arc. In the meantime, Devin Booker will need to continue to pick up some of the slack on the scoring end, while Tyus Jones, Grayson Allen, and Royce O'Neale could also surpass fantasy expectations at times until Durant is back.Source: Shams Charania
9 hours agoBuffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson (lower body) will miss a third consecutive game on Wednesday against Los Angeles. Thompson practiced with the team on Monday but isn't ready to return to action. With Thompson on the shelf, the Sabres have lost their biggest goal threat. Thompson sits on 11 goals and 18 points with 16 games played. Ryan McLeod is centering the first line in Thompson's absence. He's had a good campaign and will enter Wednesday's action after amassing three points (two goals, one assist) across the past two games.Source: NHL.com
9 hours agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (concussion) was listed as a full participant in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Slayton still has a ways to go to clear the league's concussion protocol, but it's a good sign for his availability in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 27-year-old suffered a concussion in the Week 9 loss to the Washington Commanders and then sat out the loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 10 in Germany. New York had a bye in Week 11. Slayton has cleared 100 yards in two of his nine games in 2024 but has just one touchdown and will be returning to an offense that is benching quarterback Daniel Jones for the rest of the year. He will also have to fight for targets alongside impressive rookie Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson, which will make Slayton a boom/bust WR4/flex when he returns.Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomne
9 hours agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) was listed as a limited practice participant to kick off the week on Wednesday. The Dolphins just held a walkthrough on Wednesday and will likely to continue to limit Hill's practice reps the rest of this year as he plays through a torn ligament in his wrist. The 30-year-old speedster played over 75% of the offensive snaps and caught seven of eight targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. It was the Cheetah's second straight week with a touchdown after scoring his first TD way back in Week 1. Hill should be fine to play in Week 12 against the division-rival New England Patriots and is a must-start in all fantasy lineups as he regains his connection with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Hill had six catches for 69 yards on 10 targets in the Oct. 6 win over the Pats.Source: The Palm Beach Post - Joe Schad
10 hours agoDetroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (shoulder) was estimated as a full participant on Wednesday during the team's walkthrough practice. LaPorta suffered an AC joint sprain in the Week 10 win over the Houston Texans that caused him to miss last week's blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The week off apparently did the second-year TE well, though, and head coach Dan Campbell is optimistic of LaPorta's chances of returning this Sunday to face the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. All signs are pointing to the 23-year-old's return this weekend, but fantasy managers should have a backup plan just in case. If he returns, LaPorta will be at worst a low-end TE1 for fantasy managers. He certainly hasn't lived up to his high draft stock after finishing as the TE1 in 2023 as a rookie, and he's currently averaging 7.5 half-PPR points, which ranks 16th among TEs in 2024.Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman
10 hours agoSeattle Kraken right wing Jordan Eberle (lower body) will miss a third consecutive game on Wednesday versus Nashville. The veteran forward was injured last week in a game against Chicago. Eberle's efforts have resulted in six goals and five assists across 17 appearances this season. Daniel Sprong has joined the top-six group as Eberle's replacement. The Dutch winger was only recently acquired from Vancouver and hasn't yet made an impact with the team. Eberle's continued absence will also give Ben Meyers another opportunity to play on Wednesday.Source: NHL.com
10 hours agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Murphy is likely sidelined due to the Cavs playing the second leg of back-to-back games. Versus Dallas on Tuesday, the 24-year-old collected 19 points, five rebounds, and two steals in 29 minutes on the floor. With Brandon Ingram (ankles) also unavailable, Javonte Green, Brandon Boston, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl will likely relied upon more than usual.Source: NBA Injury Report
10 hours agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) intends to play on Sunday, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. Kittle was held out of action last weekend and was listed as a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. The Iowa product has enjoyed another fantastic campaign, averaging an impressive 17.6 PPR points per game. He has found the end zone seven times in eight games and averaged a solid 70.0 receiving yards per game. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status throughout the week in case he faces a setback, but he should be expected to return to action and be started in all formats as a high-end TE1.Source: Nick Wagoner
10 hours agoLudvig Aberg scorched the field with a minus-29 score to pick up his first and only PGA Tour win at the 2023 RSM Classic. The 25-year-old Swede hasn't teed off since the Tour Championship in early September following meniscus surgery on his left knee. However, the No. 5-ranked golfer has stated in press conferences this week that he's 100% healthy and has been preparing for this tournament for the last six weeks. He's clearly the class of the field and he ranks inside of the top 25 in the field off the tee, on approach, around the green, birdie-or-better percentage, and Bermuda putting over the last 24 rounds. Fantasy managers should have no hesitation rostering Aberg this week, and it certainly wouldn't be a surprise to see him emerge victorious once again in Sea Island.Source: PGA Tour
