13 hours agoIndiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (groin) won't play on Tuesday versus the Cavs. Head coach Rick Carlisle clarified Halliburton's ailment, reporting he's been bothered by a groin issue as opposed to a hamstring injury. For now, the 24-year-old is considered day-to-day. Haliburton is having a down year compared to last, averaging 18.1 points, 8.8 assists, and 3.6 rebounds with 1.3 steals. But he's at least stayed healthy, with Tuesday night marking his first absence of the 2024-25 campaign. Ben Sheppard will get the start against Cleveland. However, T.J. McConnell, Pascal Siakam, and Bennedict Mathurin should benefit the most from Halliburton's absence.Source: Tony East
13 hours agoToronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (hip) will miss Wednesday's game against the Celtics. The former Knick has been banged up all year, missing time because of a pelvic contusion and an elbow injury. But now a hip strain will keep him off the floor for a second-straight contest. Without Quickley, Davion Mitchell will likely remain in the starting lineup. However, Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, and Ochai Agbaji should benefit the most from Quickley's absence.Source: NBA Injury Report
13 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Paul George (groin) is listed as probable going into Tuesday's matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder. George is likely good to go after registering two back-to-back double-doubles for the 76ers during his last two outings. He's also posted at least 25 points in those two games. The 34-year-old veteran forward appears to be heating up and is a must-start across all fantasy formats when he's able to suit up.Source: NBA Injury Report
13 hours agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray (elbow) will play on Tuesday against the Chicago Bulls. The former Hawk has turned up the volume on the statistical end of late, averaging 18.4 points, 8.0 assists, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals in seven appearances in January. But he could be even more productive versus the Bulls, a team that has allowed 120.8 points per game this season, the second-worst average in the National Basketball Association. With Murray cleared for action, it will likely mean less work for Jose Alvarado, who would have been in line to start.Source: NBA Injury Report
13 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (hand) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Maxey was placed on the injury report as a late addition due to a sprained left hand, which
should be concerning for fantasy managers. The 24-year-old is having a fantastic season, averaging 25.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.1 steals in 37.4 minutes per contest. If Maxey is sidelined, Reggie Jackson and Eric Gordon will take on extra minutes.Source: NBA Injury Report
14 hours agoAccording to Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee, Sacramento Kings guard/forward Malik Monk (groin) will not play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. After sustaining a groin injury, Monk will miss his eighth game of the season. However, tonight's contest will be the first he's been sidelined since November 24th. The 26-year-old's next opportunity comes on Thursday against the Rockets. Kevin Huerter and Keon Ellis should share Monk's minutes on Tuesday.Source: Chris Biderman
21 hours agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) will not be an option for at least three more games. Per Jovan Buha of The Athletic, Lakers head coach JJ Redick said Monday that Vanderbilt is progressing but won't make his season debut this week. It's been over 11 months since we last saw Vanderbilt in action with the Lakers, with his last appearance coming on Feb. 1, 2024. Considering the length of time Vanderbilt has been off the court, the team will likely ease him back into action, limiting his fantasy appeal. The 25-year-old also faces additional competition for playing time, with Dorian Finney-Smith in town and Max Christie developing well.Source: Jovan Buha
21 hours agoPortland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (calf) is off the injury report and ready to return to action on Tuesday against Brooklyn. After logging 48 minutes across a back-to-back set, Ayton missed Saturday's game against Miami due to calf soreness. However, it was not a serious issue, as Ayton participated fully in Monday's practice. The former first-overall pick has been quiet in his most recent outings, but Ayton is averaging a double-double for the campaign with 13.9 points and 10.1 rebounds. The Nets allow the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing centers, so Tuesday's game looks like a good opportunity for Ayton to regain momentum.Source: NBA Injury Report
21 hours agoPortland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III (illness) faces a third consecutive absence on Tuesday against Brooklyn. After sitting out one game for rest purposes, Williams III caught an illness bug, which forced him out of the lineup on Saturday against Miami. The 27-year-old has provided backup for starting center Deandre Ayton, along with rookie Donovan Clingan, limiting his fantasy value. Due to the lack of playing time, Williams III has averaged only 6.6 points and 5.0 rebounds across 12 appearances in 2024-25.Source: NBA Injury Report
21 hours agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Dalano Banton (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's clash with Brooklyn. The 25-year-old has been in and out of the lineup since December and might have to sit again because he is feeling under the weather. Banton had a good spell in the rotation early in the season, but this came during a time when the Trail Blazers were dealing with several injuries. He's only had a small role to play with a healthy squad, logging just six minutes last time out against Miami.Source: NBA Injury Report
21 hours agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (face) will continue to sit on Tuesday against Brooklyn. He has been ruled out for a seventh straight game due to a facial contusion. Deni Avdija (ankle) has started in Grant's place but is also carrying a questionable tag entering Tuesday. With Grant out, we have also seen more of Kris Murray, who has averaged 6.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 19.8 minutes this month. Murray has not been a fantasy factor, but that could change if Avdija joins Grant on the sidelines.Source: NBA Injury Report
22 hours agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. (hand) is not expected to miss time despite making an early exit against Miami on Monday. Jones Jr. hurt his hand and left the contest with 10:20 to go in the final quarter. However, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue told reporters postgame that Jones Jr. was "fine" and available to return to the game. The former dunk champion finished Monday's game with nine points in 16 minutes. Jones Jr.'s fantasy stock recently took a hit with Kawhi Leonard's season debut. He has come off the bench in all three games that Leonard has played. But we should see Jones Jr. back among the starters as soon as Wednesday as the Clippers head into a back-to-back set, and Leonard, who remains on a minutes restriction, will likely get one night off.Source: Joey Linn
1 day agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's contest against the Nets. The former Wizard got off to a slow start to begin his career in Portland. However, he's turned it around, averaging 17.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in six games this month. With Jerami Grant (face) already ruled out, Kris Murray and Scoot Henderson may spend more time on the court if Avdija misses his first contest of the 2024-25 campaign. While Murray can have some productive outings, Henderson is a much safer fantasy option.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 day agoLos Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (foot) will play on Monday against the Spurs. As expected, AD has had a monster 2024-25 campaign. However, he's only missed two games this season, which is what fantasy managers have appreciated the most. Davis has averaged 29.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals in two meetings with San Antonio this season, so he'll be a welcome addition to any fantasy lineup, especially for those participating in DFS contests.Source: Jovan Buha
1 day agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is active heading into Monday's meeting with the Spurs. The multi-time All-Star has been dealing with a foot injury all year. However, he was listed as probable for this one, so most assumed he would be out there on Monday night. With that in mind, James is always a must-start in all fantasy formats. But he's averaged only 15.5 points in two games versus the Spurs during the 2024-25 campaign, giving him an unfavorable DFS outlook.Source: Jovan Buha
