2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. After making 16 consecutive appearances, Murray came out of the lineup on Monday against the Golden State Warriors due to an ankle sprain. With Murray out and Nikola Jokic (elbow, ankle) joining him on the sidelines, Russell Westbrook ran the offense on Monday, finishing with a triple-double that included a season-high 16 assists. At the same time, Aaron Gordon took on a lot more offensive duties, leading all scorers with a season-high 38 points.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (elbow, ankle) may miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers, as he has been listed as questionable for the matchup. Jokic exited the lineup for only the sixth time this season when the Nuggets faced the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. Head coach Michael Malone went with a smaller lineup, bringing Hunter Tyson and Peyton Watson into the starting unit. With Jamal Murray (ankle) also out, Aaron Gordon (calf, ankle) and Russell Westbrook ran the show. If the circumstances are the same, both players should excel against the Lakers again. Gordon is dealing with a couple of health issues as well but is expected to play.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Jalen Williams (hip) will remain sidelined on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. He is trying to recover from a right hip strain but will need more time to do so. This will be Williams' fourth consecutive absence. The Thunder have a long list of absentees, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest), which opens up playing time for Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, and Kenrich Williams. Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren could end up being the only available regular starter, and his offense usage should get a boost.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest) will not be in action on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The team plans to rest him for the matchup, with Gilgeous-Alexander sitting out a game for only the third time this season. Luguentz Dort (hip) and Jalen Williams (hip) also won't play, leaving OKC without three starters for the contest. In this situation, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins are likely to be asked to shoulder a heavier workload. There may be even more playing time available for the Thunder bench, depending on the statuses of Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Isaiah Hartenstein (back), who are both listed as questionable on the injury report.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley (foot) will play on Tuesday versus the Clippers, barring a pregame setback. He wasn't available for Sunday's loss to the Orlando Magic because of a foot injury. As a result, De'Andre Hunter entered the starting lineup, finishing with nine points and five boards. While Hunter will still see minutes from off the bench, he may have a tough time getting it done for fantasy managers with Mobley, Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Jarrett Allen on the floor.Source: Chris Fedor
2 weeks agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Kris Dunn (knee) is back in the mix ahead of Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Dunn will shift back into the starting five after missing Sunday's contest due to a knee issue. His return to the starting unit will move Derrick Jones Jr. back to the bench where he'll offer less streaming appeal. Dunn has been playing fairly significant minutes lately, but still isn't offering a ton of fantasy value. He could be worth a look in deep leagues, but Dunn doesn't have much value outside of that.Source: Tomer Azarly
2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (personal) is questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks. The former Raptor had been on a roll, scoring at least 25 points in each of the Pacers' previous three contests heading into Monday's overtime victory over the Timberwolves. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to play because of a personal issue. Tyrese Haliburton (back), Aaron Nesmith (ankle), and Myles Turner (hip) were also sidelined for that one, resulting in Obi Toppin and Bennedict Mathurin combining for 56 points. Toppin will likely start again if Siakam can't suit up. However, Turner and Nesmith are off the injury report, so Toppin probably won't be as productive, even if Haliburton remains on the shelf.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski (back) is available to play ahead of Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Podiemski is back in the mix after missing each of the last five games due to a lingering back issue. His return will come at a good time with Stephen Curry (rest) heading to the bench on Tuesday night. Podziemski has been playing better in the second half this season with 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game over his last 19 contests. Fantasy managers should consider Podziemski a fairly decent streaming option with Curry sidelined on Tuesday.Source: Dalton Johnson
2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (hip) is off the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Mavericks. He missed Monday's overtime win over the Timberwolves because of a hip contusion. As a result, Thomas Bryant took over in the middle, finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and one steal. But with Turner back on the floor, Bryant won't be relevant for fantasy managers. On the other hand, Turner could be in line for an uptick in scoring tries, considering Tyrese Haliburton (back) and Pascal Siakam (personal) may not suit up. In addition, the Mavs are still without Anthony Davis (adductor), Dereck Lively II (ankle), and Daniel Gafford (knee). Kai Jones (quadriceps) is questionable, meaning Dallas may remain undersized underneath the basket.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (groin) is available to play ahead of Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. As expected, Lillard will shake off the probable tag and play through his groin soreness. Lillard has played in 12 straight games, so it's going to take more than a minor injury to hold him out of action. The 34-year-old has been one of the best guards in terms of fantasy value this season. He's averaging 25.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists across 36 minutes this season. Fantasy managers can make sure to get him active in their lineups.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is available to play ahead of Tuesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. As expected, Antetokounmpo is active after being listed as probable on the injury report. He has been a regular on the injury report this season due to a lingering knee issue. Despite that, Antetokounmpo has played in 14 straight games coming into Tuesday's contest. He has been one of the best fantasy options all season long and can be inserted into fantasy lineups on Tuesday.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (back) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Dallas. The 2020 No. 12 overall pick has been banged up of late, missing three games due to a hip injury before returning for the March 11 meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks. He played the following two contests. However, Haliburton was sidelined for Monday's overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves because of back soreness. Pascal Siakam (personal), Myles Turner (hip), and Aaron Nesmith (ankle) also weren't available for that one, paving the way for increased production from Bennedict Mathurin and Obi Toppin, with the duo combining for 56 points. But fantasy managers shouldn't expect a duplicate performance from the pair even if Haliburton can't get back on the floor, considering Turner and Nesmith are off the injury report, and Siakam has a chance to play.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Gary Trent Jr. (knee) is available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. As expected, Trent is available to play after being listed as probable on the injury report due to a knee injury. The 26-year-old has picked up the slack recently with 12 points or more in each of his last three games. There's not a ton of fantasy value here, but Trent could offer some low-end or deep league appeal, assuming he continues to play around 20 minutes per game.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (rest) won't suit up for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee. He had 20 points in Monday's loss to the Denver Nuggets, although he shot a rough 4-for-14 from behind the three-point line. With the Warriors having won their previous seven games before the streak was snapped on Monday night, Golden State will look to Jimmy Butler III and Jonathan Kuminga the most to help the team get back on track. Draymond Green, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody should also see more looks at the basket without Curry on the floor.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoCharlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball (wrist) is now unavailable for Tuesday's matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. Due to right wrist soreness, the 23-year-old has been downgraded from questionable to out. Nick Smith, Damion Baugh and Wendell Moore will likely see expanded roles with the superstar guard officially out of action. His next chance to return to the floor is Thursday against the Knicks.Source: NBA Injury Report
