2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns center Mason Plumlee (quadriceps) will not play against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. He injured his left quadriceps on Monday against the Toronto Raptors, which will cause Plumlee to miss only his second game of the season. In his absence, Oso Ighodaro will move up in the depth chart. Ighodaro outperformed starting center Nick Richards on Monday, though it was during a blowout victory. The 22-year-old has averaged 6.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 22.4 minutes across five appearances in March.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls, marking his fifth consecutive absence. The veteran sharpshooter is trying to recover from a left foot strain. The Suns are also without Bradley Beal (hamstring), prompting head coach Mike Budenholzer to experiment with Collin Gillespie in the starting unit on Monday versus the Toronto Raptors. With Allen and Beal unavailable, Tyus Jones, Royce O'Neale, and Cody Martin are also given additional playing time.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoSacramento Kings forward Jake LaRavia (illness) will not be in the lineup on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness, and the team has ruled him out after initially listing LaRavia as questionable. The Wake Forest product should now also be considered iffy for Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Trey Lyles figures to benefit the most from LaRavia's absence, while Doug McDermott and Isaac Jones may pick up a few extra minutes of action.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace (shoulder) will not be in action on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. He will sit out the game due to a right shoulder strain after the team downgraded Wallace's status from questionable to out. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest) also unavailable on Wednesday, Isaiah Joe, Alex Caruso, and Aaron Wiggins should get plenty of extra work in the Thunder backcourt. Wiggins erupted for 30 points the last time Oklahoma City was without several of its regulars.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein (back) will be inactive on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The team has downgraded him from questionable to out, as low back spasms will prevent Hartenstein from suiting up for the game. This means Chet Holmgren is expected to take on much of the frontcourt work, while Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams will see extra time on the court. Both players have previously excelled in similar situations and should be considered solid streaming options.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward/center Guerschon Yabusele (knee) will play on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has shaken off a sore knee, returning to action after missing one game. Yabusele has struggled to live up to fantasy expectations lately, as his numbers have dropped to 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds this month. However, since the 76ers are dealing with numerous injuries right now, Yabusele is sure to play a significant role in the rotation. He will start Wednesday's game alongside Jared Butler, Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards, and Oshae Brissett.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMiami Heat guard/forward Alec Burks (back) will return to work on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. He has been cleared to return from a seven-game absence. Before injuring his back, Burks had started in three consecutive games. On Wednesday, he will come off the bench, which will limit Burks' fantasy value. As a reserve, Burks has contributed only 5.9 points per game in 16.7 minutes this season. Tyler Herro, Duncan, Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Bam Adebayo, and Kel'el Ware will start Wednesday's contest for the Heat.Source: Miami Heat
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) will miss his third straight game on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran scorer has been dealing with a knee sprain, and there isn't a timetable for when he will return. With Oubre on Philadelphia's lengthy injury list, Justin Edwards, Ricky Council IV, and Jalen Hood-Schifino all can take on more significant roles in the rotation. Council IV looks like the best fantasy option of the three, as he posted a double-double two games ago against the Dallas Mavericks.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMiami Heat center Kel'el Ware will start in Wednesday's meeting with the Pistons. With Jalen Duren coming to town and Andrew Wiggins (leg) ruled out, head coach Erik Spoelstra will roll with Ware underneath the basket, with Bam Adebayo moving over to the four spot. The rookie has averaged 10.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 22 starts this season, giving him a higher ceiling for fantasy managers. With Ware in the starting lineup, Haywood Highsmith, who had two points versus the Knicks on Monday, will head back to the bench.Source: Brady Hawk
2 weeks agoUtah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (personal) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Washington Wizards. He is tending to a personal matter and will exit the lineup after playing in each of the last four games. Brice Sensabaugh, Kyle Filipowski, and Micah Potter could all see an uptick in minutes due to Markkanen's absence. Sensabaugh can heat up in a hurry and could do big damage against a team that allows a league-high 120.5 points per game.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoUtah Jazz center Walker Kessler (rest) will be in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt against the Washington Wizards. He was initially expected to sit out the contest after Utah listed him as out for rest purposes. However, Lauri Markkanen (personal) has now been ruled out for the game, with Kessler coming back into the mix. His presence will limit Kyle Filipowski's effectiveness. Fantasy managers have seen Kessler dominate the glass recently, as he is averaging 14.8 rebounds this month. The seven-footer has added 12.3 points and 3.3 blocks per game on 55.2 percent shooting.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks are entering a back-to-back set, and Robinson was initially uncertain for the game after being labeled as questionable on the injury report. Now that he has been upgraded to available, it's reasonable to assume that Robinson will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets as he continues to recover from ankle surgery. Since his season debut in late February, Robinson has contributed 4.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game. Precious Achiuwa should fill Robinson's minutes in Thursday's game.Source: Stefan Bondy
2 weeks agoChristian Clark of The Athletic reports that Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Klay Thompson (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Thompson is a late scratch due to an illness. The 35-year-old hasn't been out of action since February 13th. The Mavs are already without Anthony Davis (adductor) and Kyrie Irving (knee) and to make matters worse, Brandon Williams (hamstring) is also sidelined. However, Jaden Hardy (ankle) has been cleared to play tonight after missing seven consecutive contests with an ankle injury.Source: Christian Clark
2 weeks agoSacramento Kings guard/forward Zach LaVine (personal) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is a late scratch for the game for personal reasons, as LaVine was not included in the initial injury report. Domantas Sabonis (ankle) will also exit the lineup on Wednesday, which will significantly alter the Kings' offense. Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan are expected to lead the team. At the same time, Keon Ellis and Devin Carter should get more action on the court.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoWashington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (elbow) is good to go for Wednesday's matchup against the Utah Jazz. Poole's status has been upgraded a couple of times throughout the day, going from doubtful to available. The talented scorer has had a good campaign in Washington, but the team has recently begun limiting Poole's minutes, which means fantasy managers aren't getting full value out of him. This month, Poole has averaged only 24.2 minutes per game, putting up 18.3 points while registering 2.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists.Source: NBA Injury Report
