2 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein (back) will be inactive on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The team has downgraded him from questionable to out, as low back spasms will prevent Hartenstein from suiting up for the game. This means Chet Holmgren is expected to take on much of the frontcourt work, while Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams will see extra time on the court. Both players have previously excelled in similar situations and should be considered solid streaming options.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward/center Guerschon Yabusele (knee) will play on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has shaken off a sore knee, returning to action after missing one game. Yabusele has struggled to live up to fantasy expectations lately, as his numbers have dropped to 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds this month. However, since the 76ers are dealing with numerous injuries right now, Yabusele is sure to play a significant role in the rotation. He will start Wednesday's game alongside Jared Butler, Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards, and Oshae Brissett.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMiami Heat guard/forward Alec Burks (back) will return to work on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. He has been cleared to return from a seven-game absence. Before injuring his back, Burks had started in three consecutive games. On Wednesday, he will come off the bench, which will limit Burks' fantasy value. As a reserve, Burks has contributed only 5.9 points per game in 16.7 minutes this season. Tyler Herro, Duncan, Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Bam Adebayo, and Kel'el Ware will start Wednesday's contest for the Heat.Source: Miami Heat
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) will miss his third straight game on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran scorer has been dealing with a knee sprain, and there isn't a timetable for when he will return. With Oubre on Philadelphia's lengthy injury list, Justin Edwards, Ricky Council IV, and Jalen Hood-Schifino all can take on more significant roles in the rotation. Council IV looks like the best fantasy option of the three, as he posted a double-double two games ago against the Dallas Mavericks.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMiami Heat center Kel'el Ware will start in Wednesday's meeting with the Pistons. With Jalen Duren coming to town and Andrew Wiggins (leg) ruled out, head coach Erik Spoelstra will roll with Ware underneath the basket, with Bam Adebayo moving over to the four spot. The rookie has averaged 10.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 22 starts this season, giving him a higher ceiling for fantasy managers. With Ware in the starting lineup, Haywood Highsmith, who had two points versus the Knicks on Monday, will head back to the bench.Source: Brady Hawk
2 weeks agoUtah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (personal) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Washington Wizards. He is tending to a personal matter and will exit the lineup after playing in each of the last four games. Brice Sensabaugh, Kyle Filipowski, and Micah Potter could all see an uptick in minutes due to Markkanen's absence. Sensabaugh can heat up in a hurry and could do big damage against a team that allows a league-high 120.5 points per game.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoUtah Jazz center Walker Kessler (rest) will be in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt against the Washington Wizards. He was initially expected to sit out the contest after Utah listed him as out for rest purposes. However, Lauri Markkanen (personal) has now been ruled out for the game, with Kessler coming back into the mix. His presence will limit Kyle Filipowski's effectiveness. Fantasy managers have seen Kessler dominate the glass recently, as he is averaging 14.8 rebounds this month. The seven-footer has added 12.3 points and 3.3 blocks per game on 55.2 percent shooting.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks are entering a back-to-back set, and Robinson was initially uncertain for the game after being labeled as questionable on the injury report. Now that he has been upgraded to available, it's reasonable to assume that Robinson will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets as he continues to recover from ankle surgery. Since his season debut in late February, Robinson has contributed 4.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game. Precious Achiuwa should fill Robinson's minutes in Thursday's game.Source: Stefan Bondy
2 weeks agoChristian Clark of The Athletic reports that Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Klay Thompson (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Thompson is a late scratch due to an illness. The 35-year-old hasn't been out of action since February 13th. The Mavs are already without Anthony Davis (adductor) and Kyrie Irving (knee) and to make matters worse, Brandon Williams (hamstring) is also sidelined. However, Jaden Hardy (ankle) has been cleared to play tonight after missing seven consecutive contests with an ankle injury.Source: Christian Clark
2 weeks agoSacramento Kings guard/forward Zach LaVine (personal) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is a late scratch for the game for personal reasons, as LaVine was not included in the initial injury report. Domantas Sabonis (ankle) will also exit the lineup on Wednesday, which will significantly alter the Kings' offense. Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan are expected to lead the team. At the same time, Keon Ellis and Devin Carter should get more action on the court.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoWashington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (elbow) is good to go for Wednesday's matchup against the Utah Jazz. Poole's status has been upgraded a couple of times throughout the day, going from doubtful to available. The talented scorer has had a good campaign in Washington, but the team has recently begun limiting Poole's minutes, which means fantasy managers aren't getting full value out of him. This month, Poole has averaged only 24.2 minutes per game, putting up 18.3 points while registering 2.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers power forward Jarace Walker (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks. Walker was initially considered questionable for the contest after he sprained his right ankle in Monday's matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. On Monday, Walker earned a starting nod with Pascal Siakam (personal) unavailable. Siakam will return to action against Dallas, which means Walker will move back to the bench, reducing his fantasy value significantly.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoAccording to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, Miami Heat forward Andrew Wiggins (lower leg) will be out of action for Wednesday's matchup with the Detroit Pistons. He has been dealing with a lower left leg contusion, and it will be the second game in a row he's missed. Jaime Jaquez Jr. could see a busy night with the veteran Wiggins sidelined after he finished with six points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes in a 116-95 loss to the Knicks on Monday.Source: Anthony Chiang
2 weeks agoWashington Wizards guard Marcus Smart (illness) will rejoin the lineup on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz. The veteran was originally ruled out for the game due to an illness, but he has now unexpectedly been upgraded to available. Smart produced a couple of strong outings before landing on the shelf for two games because of his illness. However, he has been far from his best in Washington, averaging 10.9 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.0 steals since joining the team.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoChicago Bulls guard/forward Josh Giddey (ankle) is expected to rejoin the lineup on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns. Entering Wednesday, Giddey was listed as questionable on the injury report. However, the team has since upgraded his status to available, signaling the end of a three-game absence for Giddey. Giddey's return will hurt Tre Jones and Kevin Huerter, although they could still hold value in certain fantasy formats due to Lonzo Ball's (wrist) ongoing absence. Recently, Chicago has witnessed Giddey's full potential, with the Australian star averaging 23.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists in March.Source: NBA Injury Report
