3 months agoKaan Ofli suffered a second-round knockout loss to Mairon Santos in the TUF 32 featherweight finals, which took place on the main card of UFC Vegas 96. The first round was competitive as Ofli was barely outstruck but had 1:29 of control in the opening round. However, less than two minutes into the second round, Ofli got hit by a left hook which dropped him and after some follow-up shots, he was put out cold. Santos barely outstruck Ofli in the first round but was controlled for nearly 90 seconds. However, in the second round, Santos landed a left hook that dropped Ofli and follow-up shots put him out cold. 3 months agoRobert Valentin suffered a second-round TKO loss to Ryan Loder in the TUF 32 middleweight finals on the main card of UFC Vegas 96. Valentin had a lot of success early on as he had Loder's back and was working on a rear-naked choke, but he couldn't lock it in. In the second round, Valentin was taken down and got put into the crucifix position, and after several unanswered elbows, the ref stopped the fight. With the loss, Valentin is now 10-4 as a pro and it's uncertain if he will get a UFC contract after losing in the finals.Source: UFC
3 months agoRyan Loder scored a second-round TKO win over Robert Valentin on the main card of UFC Vegas 96 in the TUF 32 middleweight finals. Loder was in a troubling spot early on, as Valentin had his back and was locking in a rear-naked choke. However, Loder got out of it and got to the second round. In the second round, Loder got Valentin down and into a crucifix position landing elbows to get the TKO finish. 3 months agoAngela Hill suffered a unanimous decision loss to Tabatha Ricci at UFC Vegas 96 on Saturday. Hill entered the bout as a slight underdog, and the veteran struggled early on as she was outstruck 42-to-35 in the first round. She was then taken down twice in the second round and was controlled for nearly two minutes. Hill was much slower than Ricci and that proved to be the difference as the American suffered a decision. With the loss, Hill is now 17-14 as a pro and 12-14 in the UFC. She is now 2-2 in her last four and but remains a top-15 strawweight.Source: UFC

Ricci entered the bout as the slight favorite by the time fight night came around. The Brazilian had success striking in the first round, outlanding Hill 42-to-35. She then turned to her wrestling in the final two rounds, as she finished the fight with over five minutes of control to cruise to a decision win.
