Padraig Harrington Still An Option In North Berwick
1 year agoPadraig Harrington may have taken his talents to the Champions Tour, but the three-time PGA Tour winner has shown that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank to compete with the world's elite. Look no further than the US Open in June, where the 51-year-old Irishman surprised with a T27 finish, which was also his fifth straight cut made at a PGA Tour event. If the recipe for success at The Renaissance Club includes distance off the tee and an elite short game, there's no reason to doubt Harrington's ability to replicate his 18th-place finish at this event in 2021 or his ninth-place finish here in 2020. Just three weeks removed from his Champions Tour victory at En-Joie Golf Club, Harrington could stir up some magic and once again surprise with a top-25 performance in Scotland.
