Packers Sticking With Mason Crosby
The Green Bay Packers don't appear to be exploring other kicking options after kicker Mason Crosby missed four field goals and an extra point in the Week 5 loss to the Lions. "He's got to make those kicks. He's a proven highly successful kicker, and I believe in him but he's got to make those kicks. It's a different game at halftime (if he makes those three first-half) kicks," head coach Mike McCarthy said. The veteran booter has made only 11 of his 16 field goal tries this year and has also missed two of 10 extra-point tries. If he doesn't turn it around immediately, Green Bay might have no choice but to cut him. It'd be wise to avoid the 34-year-old for now.
