Pablo Lopez Pitches Seven Strong Innings On Thursday
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez pitched well in Thursday's start against the Philadelphia Phillies. He lasted seven innings, allowing just two runs on four hits and a walk. He struck out five and only allowed runs in the fourth inning, keeping the Phillies off the board in every other frame. Lopez ended up with a no-decision as the Marlins lost on a ninth inning run by the Phillies. Lopez lowered his ERA to 2.71 and continues to be an excellent mixed league option.
