Pablo Lopez Pitches Seven Strong Innings On Thursday
Miami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez pitched well in Thursday's start against the Philadelphia Phillies. He lasted seven innings, allowing just two runs on four hits and a walk. He struck out five and only allowed runs in the fourth inning, keeping the Phillies off the board in every other frame. Lopez ended up with a no-decision as the Marlins lost on a ninth inning run by the Phillies. Lopez lowered his ERA to 2.71 and continues to be an excellent mixed league option.
