Pablo Lopez Gets Hit Hard Monday
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez fell to 5-4 in Monday's 9-0 loss to the Cardinals. Lopez pitched 5 innings, allowing five runs on six hits (including two home runs) and a walk with five strikeouts. It was obviously not the results fantasy managers were hoping for, but they should give the 26-year-old a break, as he has compiled a strong 2.98 ERA on the season over 15 starts and 87 2/3 IP. He will look to rebound in his next start in a favorable matchup at the Nationals.
