P.J. Walker's Stock Falling In Carolina

Carolina Panthers quarterback P.J. Walker has fallen to No. 3 on the QB depth chart behind Sam Darnold and rookie Matt Corral. Head coach Matt Rhule could elect to keep three signal-callers on the roster like he did in 2020, but the team has bigger questions besides Walker, namely figuring out if they are going to stick with Darnold or trade for Baker Mayfield or Jimmy Garoppolo. Rhule coached Walker at Temple and likes the fact that he's a dual-threat quarterback, but Walker will surely be a goner if the Panthers trade for either Mayfield or Jimmy G this offseason. The 27-year-old won a spot start in each of his first two seasons with the Panthers, going a combined 68-for-122 for 730 yards, two touchdowns and eight interceptions.
