P.J. Walker Struggles For Second Straight Game
1 year agoChicago Bears quarterback P.J. Walker got the start in the team's Week 2 preseason loss against the Indianapolis Colts. Walker played two drives going 1-for-4 for just six passing yards, and was sacked twice. This follows a game where Walker went 4-for-8 and threw a bad interception in the team's preseason opener. The former Carolina Panther has been outperformed by all three quarterbacks that the Bears have played during their first two preseason games. Chicago signed Walker as the clear backup to Justin Fields, but he must play better to secure that role ahead of the regular season.
