3 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with a homer, two runs scored, four RBI, and a walk during an 8-5 victory over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. The two-time All-Star connected for his 27th homer, a two-run shot, off of Nationals relief pitcher Ryne Harper during the seventh inning. The 24-year-old now has 27 HR, 93 RBI, 88 R, and 17 SB with a .262/.318/.820 line across 530 at-bats. With a 9.4% barrel rate, 37.4% hard hit rate, and 21.2-degree launch angle, Albies has put together a career year in the power department. The Atlanta second baseman should continue to be the best option at the position for the next several years in a deep and talented lineup.--Patrick Doris
