Ozzie Albies Fractures Right Pinky Finger
2 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies (finger) left Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a fractured right pinky finger. He initially injured his finger sliding into second base. The 25-year-old was reinstated from the 60-day injured list on Friday. With three weeks left in the season, Albies will most likely be out for the remainder of the year. Vaughn Grissom replaced Albie during Saturday's contest. Grissom will see an uptick in playing time while Albies is sidelined and is a speculative add in most leagues after slashing .304/.355/.482 with five homers and five stolen bases over 31 games in 2022.
