Oswaldo Cabrera Hitting .105 Heading Into ALCS
2 years agoNew York Yankees infielder/outfielder Oswaldo Cabrera is having a tough postseason debut thus far. That didn't change when he went 0-for-4 with a pair of punchouts in Tuesday's 5-1 Division Series game five victory against the Cleveland Guardians. The rookie's hitting just .105 with 10 strikeouts, one home run, and a .421 OPS over five playoff contests. Cabrera had a decent 44 games during the regular season, slashing .247/.312/.429 with six homers, 21 runs, 19 RBI, and three stolen bases, but struck out 25.7% of the time. He'll try to change his fortune in the next series when the Yankees face the Houston Astros but might find the same results against some of the league's best pitching.
