Orioles Willing To Move Alex Cobb
6 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles have made it known that they would trade starting pitcher Alex Cobb in the right deal. He has three years and $43 million left on his deal, however, so the O's would probably have to eat some of the money left. The 31-year-old right-hander was 5-10 with a 4.90 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 102 strikeouts in 152 1/3 innings. It was a tale of two halves for him, though, as he posted a 6.41 ERA and 1.58 WHIP in the first half compared to a solid 2.56 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in the second half. He doesn't strike many out and isn't attractive in Baltimore and in the tough American League East, but his fantasy outlook could look much nicer in a different uniform.
