New Jersey Devils left wing Ondrej Palat (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Saturday. The move is retroactive to Oct. 24. Palat has missed the team's last two games with a lower-body injury and it's not looking good, with him set to meet doctors on Monday to decide how to proceed with the issue that's bothering him. Palat was a big signing for New Jersey during the offseason, and he's tied for the team lead with three goals early in the year. Nico Hischier has skated with Tomas Tatar and Fabian Zetterlund on the first line since Palat's injury.--Taavi Pailk
