Omri Casspi Leads Memphis In Scoring Wednesday Night
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small forward Omri Casspi lead the team in scoring on Wednesday against Milwaukee, producing 17 points on 7-for-13 shooting in 36 minutes off the bench. He shot 1-for-3 from deep and 2-for-4 from the line, adding six rebounds and a couple of assists. Justin Holiday started at small forward, but he picked up two quick fouls and didn't reappear until the second half. Casspi took full advantage of the extra minutes, putting together his second consecutive 10-plus point outings. The 10-year veteran has been in and out of the rotation this season, but his minutes have been on the up lately, with him looking decent, so he could be a nice addition for teams in deep leagues.
