Seattle Kraken winger Oliver Bjorkstrand sustained an unspecified injury playing for his native Denmark in a 2026 Olympic qualifying game on Thursday. However, Kraken general manager Ron Francis expects Bjorkstrand to be ready for training camp next month. Bjorkstrand has played out two solid campaigns in Seattle, recording 104 points (40 goals, 64 assists) across 163 outings. He led the team with 39 assists last season while adding 20 goals with 186 shots on net in 82 games.
