Odubel Herrera, Cesar Hernandez Expected To Be Ready
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera (hamstring) and second baseman Cesar Hernandez (hip) are both expected to be ready for Opening Day, according to manager Gabe Kapler. Herrera is dealing with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain and is expected to run on Saturday. Hernandez has a strained right hip flexor and took live batting practice off minor leaguers on Friday. Both Herrera and Hernandez have seen their stock fall coming into 2019. Herrera now has more competition in the outfield with Bryce Harper in the fold. Hernandez is slightly more attractive fantasy-wise in the later rounds for his speed if he's hitting atop a revamped Philly lineup.
