Odell Beckham Jr. Reportedly Seeking $20 Million Annually
2 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) held a workout in Arizona for several teams on Friday. Although not much information has surfaced regarding how things went, the veteran remains committed to earning top dollar, reportedly still searching for a deal that will pay him roughly $20 million per season. Beckham's most recent game was Super Bowl LVI versus the Cincinnati Bengals, where he amassed two catches for 52 yards and a touchdown before tearing his ACL in the second quarter. The 30-year-old has been working his way back since and had even spoken with several clubs toward the end of the regular season. However, Beckham didn't ink a contract, opting to focus on his recovery. It will be interesting to see if any teams around the National Football League would pay him the money he's seeking, especially for a player who's battled injuries over the years while seeing a decrease in production. The former LSU Tiger could ultimately settle for less cash or potentially work out an incentive agreement. Yet, Beckham has a lot to prove to earn the trust of fantasy managers heading into Week 1.
